The cuisine at Dora Fish Taverna is a combination of knowledge of fresh fish, inspiration and passion for authentic flavours and a strong connection with the place.
Modern dishes are on an equal footing with traditional ones, complementing each other. We use our imagination and develop our proposals according to the trends of the season, at the same time honouring the history and tradition of Corfu by cooking the typical dishes of the Corfiot cuisine. The basis of our success is the fresh raw material: the fish that cramps, the shells and seafood that smell sea and salt and, of course, the freshness of each ingredient of our cuisine.
Dora personally selects the fish and seafood every day, either by going to the Local Fish Market early in the morning, or from the fisherman’s basket who supplies us. She is also responsible for the absolute cleanliness of the kitchen and the careful preparation of all the ingredients. Every day, with the enthusiasm of the first time and decades of experience, Dora prepares the favourite dishes of Corfiot and Greek cuisine for the customers of the Fish Taverna. Enjoy a variety of grilled fish, savour a spicy “bourdeto” and indulge in the finesse of a “bianco”. Try original and new flavours accompanied by a good ouzo, tsipouro or wine from the list we have prepared to accompany our dishes.
